YOUR ROCK CRAWL+ 5 DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1
Arriving at Grand Junction Airport, you will be taken to the Red Cliffs Lodge where you will be staying for the duration. Dinner and drinks will allow you to meet your fellow explorers.
DAY 2
After breakfast and a quick briefing, you’ll head out onto your first trail such as Poison Spider – a trail flanked by the stunning Moab landscape and the Colorado River.
DAY 3
Another early briefing before heading off to drive on an incredible trail like Seven Mile Rim. Navigating your way through multiple dramatic granite arches like Uranium Arch, you’ll see some of the area’s most spectacular sites.
DAY 4
After breakfast, you’ll head out on another epic trail like Hell’s Revenge – a route that will test your off-roading ability to the limits.
DAY 5
Those with later flights can sign-up for additional activities such as trekking on horseback. Or if it’s a bit of pampering you’re after, why not book a sport massage along with a relaxing soak in a hot tub.

GENERAL

Who Operates the Trips?
The Land Rover Experience Adventure Travel Utah programme is operated by Alem International Inc. who are licensed and authorised by Jaguar Land Rover. When you make a booking you will enter into a contract with Alem International Inc.

Who does the driving?
You do! There will be a team of Land Rover Experience Instructors on hand to provide expert guidance and tuition, but you are behind the wheel.

What is the minimum age for participation?
21 years old

What language will the trips be delivered in?
The programme is delivered in English.
PRICE

Do I need to purchase extra insurance to be able to drive?
Additional vehicle insurance is not required but it is mandatory for guests to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy.

What is included in the price of the Land Rover Adventure Travel Utah?
General inclusions are as follows: All Land Rover driving activities, hotel accommodation, breakfast, lunch & dinner, drinks with meals, and airport transfers to/from Grand Junction Airport. Please note that due to the level of driving involved, alcohol is only included with your dinner and will be limited.

What isn’t included in the price of the driving experience?
Flights, meals and drinks that are not specified in the programme, visa fees (if applicable), travel insurances and any pre or post-trip arrangements that deviate from the itinerary.
DRIVING

What type of driver’s licence will I need?
JLR policy dictates all drivers must hold a full, current and valid driving licence to be produced on the day of the Experience.

What vehicles will I be driving?
Land Rover All-New Discovery, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. Occasionally we may need to change or substitute the vehicle specified, due to circumstances beyond our control and we reserve the right to do so.

Are the vehicles manual or automatic?
All vehicles are automatic transmission.

How many people are in each vehicle?
There will be two (2) guests sharing per vehicle.

What is the maximum group size?
To provide a more exclusive and engaging experience, the maximum group size is 16 guests (two per vehicle).

If I am travelling by myself will I have my own vehicle?
No. As a single traveller you will be paired in your vehicle with another guest. You will have your own hotel room throughout.

Do I need to have a certain level of physical fitness to take part?
To participate in the driving Experience you should ensure that you do not know of any circumstances which would disqualify you from driving such as chronic back problems (or similar conditions), mental conditions which might impair your ability to drive, and poor eyesight which doesn’t meet the standards for driving, pregnancy or heart problems. If you are on medication, please be sure to have enough to last the duration of your trip. Also, we will have medical staff along with us. Please alert us of any medical conditions that you may have a concern over.

What is the weather at the time of year?
October and November will have warm days as high as 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit and cool evenings or around 40 degrees Fahrenheit down to freezing temperatures at night. Moab generally has over 300 days of sunshine each year.

Are children allowed to join the Land Rover Adventure Travel Experience?
The Experience is not suitable for children due to safety reasons.

Do I need special clothing?
Sturdy and comfortable walking boots, socks, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, as well as a windbreaker, fleece and t-shirt.

What is the dress code for the evenings?
Evening dress is casual.

What other activities are available?
The ranch offers activities such as horseback riding, wine tasting, river rafting, sports massage and more. Do enquire further within.

Do I require a visa?
Kindly contact your local consulate to check on your specific requirements. Should you require an invitation letter to receive your visa, please get in touch and we will provide you with this.

Which currency is used in the US?
The local currency is the US Dollar.

Am I allowed to bring a camera or video camera?
Yes of course. You may also bring specialist equipment such as GoPros, however, due to permit reasons drones will not be allowed.
